Exclamation Emails concerning Banned accounts

Hello Semiautorifle members,

I just wanted to let you all know we haven't banned anyone outside of spam accounts.

During the installation of the new forum software we ran into an issue with membership pass words. It seems the new system doesn't agree with how pass words was stored on the old forum software. So members will need to reset their pass words. You basically go through the process of signing in and it will ask if you forgot your pass word. All you is click on it and fill out your email address. It will send you an email asking if you want a new pass word. You click yes and it will send you a new one. Then you can log in and change your pass word back to your original one or make a new one.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Ray

Oh and if you don't see the list of emoticons or have the ability to change fonts or enlarge letters etc:

> Just log into the userCP and click on edit options.

>The next step is to scroll down to the bottom where it says enhanced options. You will probably see something to the effect of : "Basic" written in the box.

> Click on the tab and scroll to the bottom where it says enhanced.

> Once you do that, click on save and you should have everything I listed above.

Thanks for your patience,

Ray

Yes, for some reason phpBB when developing version 3 decided to encrypt the passwords in the database. Since vBulletin doesnt understand this encryption it is not possible for the import software to pull these passwords and understand them. So unfortunately you guys will have to reset your password. The upside is you guys are soooo AWESOME that you can do it no problem!!
