Not at all. The more people you have, the cheaper it is. There were 6 of us that went and it ended up being about 115 bux a piece. That's not too bad when you consider one of the big charters is going to run about 70 a day. I would rather go with a professional guide and some family and friends instead of a boat full of 80 randoms for $50 more a day. At least you are going to be put on some decent fish. Six people was about all he could carry. We actually didn't any fishing from the boat. We wade fished seeing as Matagorda Bay is shallow. It was a blast.

There is a link. Looks like $500 a day up to 4 people is average. I can't remember the guide we used. I will ask my dad and see if he remembers his name. We went out on a 22 ft. Ultracat with a 250 horse Mercury merado. Funny, I can remember the boat but not his name. hahaha

That isn't a bad deal at all. I really need to take the plung and do it one of these days. I came close once down in florida but chickened out :(

Well i did some more fishing today. The bass didn't care for the same lure that brung me realy good luck yesterday but the crappie was all over it! We're supposed to head home thursday or friday. I'm hoping to get in another day of fishing before we leave but i think we're going to make another trip back before school starts...fingers crossed.

anyone go to devils river?? we are going in a couple weeks to it-- somewhere by ozona called bakers crossing.... someone said there is no one that runs the camoing area etc anymore-- can we still fish and stay there??
